I. Community Group Presentations

My Spectrum on the Spectrum: From Uncertainty to Purpose

The perfect talk for inspiring an audience!

Using autism education as a springboard to speak of life with differences, David reveals his journey in overcoming adversity (including being bullied) and emerging victorious: accepting and loving himself for who he is and finding fulfillment. He strives to enlighten others about the realities and potentials of those with autism and differences, changing stereotypes and perspectives. David shares life lessons he learned that are applicable to everyone.

II. Presentations for Parents of Children with Differences

Consider either of these presentations:

1. Parenting: “Special” Perspectives

Whether your children have autism or other special needs, the insight gleaned from this presentation is inspiring and applicable. It gives hope that your children can thrive and maximize their potentials, and it provides perspectives that made a difference in David’s outcome.

Sandy joins David for this presentation. She adds a mother’s reflections and advice for fellow parents, gleaned from raising an autistic child through young adulthood.

Thriving despite the challenges of special needs and being bullied, David discloses lessons he learned that changed his life. He also shares his thoughts on helpful parenting from his unique perspective of growing up with differences.

2. Academic Success from Preschool through College: Tried and True Tips

Told from our personal experiences, this is a joint presentation. Sandy adds parental and professional viewpoints to David’s student and teacher perspectives. Find out how to minimize stress, maximize outcomes, prepare, and transition for optimal school experiences at each developmental stage.
